THE HIGHER TASTE

Apricot cake.

Ingredients.
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 cup all-purpose flour
3/4 cup apricot nectar
2 teaspoons yogourt
3/4 cup vegetable oil
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 teaspoon baking soda


Vanilla Glaze:

1 cup powdered sugar
2 teaspoons butter, softened
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
dash salt
1 to 2 tablespoons milk

Preparation.
Beat flour with 3/4 cup apricot nectar, yogourt, oil, and 2 teaspoons vanilla, until smooth. Add brown sugar.

Spoon into greased and floured tube pan. Bake at 325° for about 55 to 65 minutes.

Cool cake slightly and remove from pan. Drizzle glaze (below) over warm cake.

Combine vanilla glaze ingredients; stirring in milk until glaze consistency is reached. Drizzle over warm cake.
