Pineapple cake.
Ingredients.
1/2 cup butter
1 1/2 cups sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup crushed pineapple -- undrained
2 1/2 cups cake flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
dash salt
1/4 cup water
3 tablespoons yogourt
Preparation.
Cream butter with sugar and vanilla until fluffy. Add pineapple. Sift dry ingredients together; add to creamed mixture alternately with water. Fold in yogourt; pour into a greased and floured loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for about 1 hour, or until done. Glaze with a powdered sugar glaze, if desired.
